The Montessori School in Versailles
The International Montessori school is located in Versailles, in the Yvelines (west of Paris). It opens in September 2020 and welcomes children from 2 1/2 to 5 years old.
WELCOME TO OUR INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI SCHOOL
The location
Our international Montessori school is located in Porchefontaine, a quiet and residential area in the historical Sun King’s city of Versailles. It only takes 10 minutes walking from the station Versailles-Chantier (RER C, lines N and U, TER and TGV).
In addition, the nearby forest and its sports facilities (including a beautiful little known horse club, a stadium, Meli Melo school of circus and tennis) make this part of Versailles very attractive for families with young kids.
The facilities
The building is currently undergoing transformations, and will host the international Montessori school in Versailles in September 2020.
In a 225 sqm first floor facility, we offer two large and bright classrooms for children aged 2,5 to 5. We also accommodate a 100 sqm courtyard and an urban garden, in order to bring in our eco-friendly value to the architectural environment of Versailles.

- One mother-tongue English and French speaking guides (teachers) per classroom

We welcome all families to visit our international Montessori school during our open days, on Saturdays May 16 and June 13.

MEET OUR MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF VERSAILLES TEAM
Irina LAUVERGNAT – Director
Before opening the international Montessori school in Versailles, Irina LAUVERGNAT worked in the international banking sector for 14 years. With the birth of her two children and her relocation to France from Russia, she changes career and focuses on education. In 2017, Irina initiates organizing family camps in Russia during the summer holidays. Beginning of 2019, she deeply immerses herself in child development, and recognizes her deep belief of education in Maria Montessori work. She trains at the Institut Supérieur Maria Montessori in France where she deepened her knowledge about children, their development, and fulfillment needs.
In addition, Irina is passionate about Positive Education, and signs up for a training about techniques for the development of social and emotional skills of children.
Other team members
Our team mobilizes English and French speaking guides and assistants, all graduated and trained to teach in a Montessori school.
